A panel discussion with Hannah Beachler, Melissa Cripe, John Goldsmith, Michelle Harmon, Mara LePere-Schloop, and Meghan Rogers about the craft of production design, focusing on their experiences working in New Orleans. All of the designers currently reside in New Orleans but come from a variety of backgrounds and work in different lanes of digital media. The discussion aims to introduce the craft of production design and to celebrate the city of New Orleans as an asset for filmmaking. The event will be held at and hosted by NOVAC and the panel will be moderated by Kelsey Scult. Event is free but RSVP required. This event is part of the International Production Design Week organized by the Production Designers Collective. This will be a hybrid panel, with some of the panelists participating virtually.
