Logan Jackson

Logan Jackson is an African American Creole filmmaker, writer, and artist. An emerging voice who is originally from New Orleans, LA. He received the Emerging Director Award from the prestigious Oscar Qualifying American Black Film Festival in 2020. He has worked with multiple award-winning crew members including Emmy award winning cinematographer Will Turner and Oscar nominated musical composer Gavin Brivik. His latest short film, MY HERO, has received national and international acclaim, with screenings at more than 50 film festivals worldwide. His follow up short film, LEONETTY, premiered at the 2023 SXSW film festival where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Award. Subsequently going on to screen at dozens of Oscar Qualifying festivals picking up multiple awards and nominations. Selected for the Directors track for Film Independent Project Involve, there he directed the short film THE BLUEST HOUR. Jackson was recently selected for both the Warner Bros. Discovery TV Directing program and the NBCU TV Directing program.
