Grant Writing for Creatives
This interactive 3-hour workshop is designed for artists, filmmakers, and creative entrepreneurs who want to strengthen their ability to secure funding for their projects.
Participants will learn how to identify their project’s core needs, craft compelling grant narratives, and align their vision with funders’ priorities. The session will also cover practical tools for budgeting, evaluation, and impact documentation—ensuring participants can not only write strong proposals but also demonstrate the value of their work. Through guided exercises and real-world examples, participants will explore strategies for finding grant opportunities, staying organized around deadlines, and building relationships with program managers. The class emphasizes both the art and the structure of grant writing—balancing storytelling with evidence, creativity with accountability.
